About the Book:

In working with survivors for nearly four decades, I am frequently asked for good books to read or listen to on the subject of grief.
Finding the Words is a book I will recommend for a long time to come.

When Colin Campbell’s two teenage children were killed in a car crash caused by an intoxicated driver, Colin and his wife faced unbearable suffering that parents who lose their children are bound to experience.

The devastated couple share all aspects of their grief, including what helped them survive the unimaginable pain mixed with fear and confusion. Leaning into their grief, as opposed to denying the enormous losses, set the pace for how they approached life without their children and helped them make space for their new life that included love for others.

This book is helpful to those who are grieving as well as those who want to learn how to support them.
